A childhood dream of mine has finally been realized! It’s been about a year in the making but my “GARCADE” (Garage+Arcade) is finally finished! I could not be happier with the end result!
Growing up in the 80’s nothing was cooler than the arcade. I know it may seem silly to some seeing as how I could easily run all of these games on my iphone but just seeing these cabs all lit up and hearing the crackle of the speakers when the fire up gives me chills. I suppose you really had to grow up with them to appreciate it.

I don’t feature many actual game graphics on this blog because my focus is more about the arcade environment rather than the games themselves, but this logo, from arguably the most important year in arcade history (1981), is just fabulous.
One of my dreams is to own a combo Galaga/Ms. Pac-man machine.
